What is ECOBROKER?

EcoBroker is an education and certification program for real estate professionals who care about the environment and want to promote energy-efficient and "green" features in homes and buildings.  The EcoBroker logo is the symbol of environmentally responsible and sustainable practices in the real estate industry.  Certified EcoBrokers meet buyer and seller demand for real estate professionals with a real understanding of the issues that drive current market decisions. 

 On a personal level, I'm on a mission.  I've inhabited the planet for 59 years. (!) Knowing what I've done to degrade our environment, it is more than appropriate for me to offset my past and join those who are helping to change the future. We do this in our own home but I am also in the unique position of having an audience - one of clients, past and present, and in fact the real estate community as a whole. 

 I'm not an expert on "all things green" but I have learned so much through the process of gaining my certification that I can certainly be a source.  So for now,  the education continues and the class is in session!
